Two men visiting a windows and doors showroom sit on blue chairs, looking at product catalogs together. One points to a page while the other looks on, with hardware samples displayed on the wall behind them.

We know that for most people, these aren’t the type of purchases you make every day, so you might be unsure of what to expect when you pay us a visit. Don’t worry – whether this is your first time buying upgrades for your home, or you’re a seasoned pro, our handy guide will help you know what will happen when you drop by our showroom.

Why Visit a Showroom for Windows and Doors?

First of all, it’s good to understand the reasons why visiting a showroom is a good idea when purchasing upgrades for your home. After all, when you can simply order online, it might seem like extra effort to come and visit us. However, we believe that nothing can replicate the experience of seeing the products in person. Here are three key reasons why you might want to visit our showroom:

  1. See products in person: Choosing the right windows and doors is about more than their function – they have to look right too. Seeing the products at our showroom helps you pick the right finishes and colours without the guesswork that can come from online browsing.
  2. Get hands-on: How your windows and doors open and close is key – after all, you’ll need to be able to easily open and close them every day. Testing out our different solutions is the best way to find the right products to suit your preferences.
  3. Talk to experts: Our friendly team knows everything there is to know about windows and doors, bringing a level of expertise that you won’t find through online chatbots or big-name websites.

Now you know some of the benefits of coming to our showroom, here’s our step-by-step guide of what to expect on your visit.

Step One: How To Find Us

A white van and car are parked outside a gray building with signs for Cairnview. A flower box sits under the window, and a large sign welcomes visitors to the windows and doors showroom and office.

Our showroom is located at Perth Airport in Scone. Yes, Perth has an airport! But don’t worry, it’s not a commercial airport and you won’t encounter crazy airport traffic when you come to the showroom. Thanks to the new Tay Link Road, visiting our showroom is easier than ever, especially for our customers coming from the other side of Perth and nearby villages such as Luncarty and Stanley. We’re less than 15 minutes from Perth City Centre and just over 30 minutes from Pitlochry. Our exact address is:

Unit 62e Cameron Rd, Airport, Scone, Perth PH2 6PL

You can pop it in any sat nav or map software and it’ll take you right to us! When you get here you’ll find plenty of parking. There are also regular bus services from Perth, with stops right outside the airport. From there, it’s just a short walk up the hill, turn left at the roundabout and walk a little further along this road and you’ll find us on the right.

We’re open 9am-5pm, Monday to Friday, but if you can’t make it then, we can open for you on the weekend by appointment.

Step Two: Meet our Friendly Team

Seven people pose together in a modern, well-lit office space with wooden floors and patterned wallpaper, as if visiting a windows and doors showroom. Four stand while three are seated, all smiling and dressed in business or casual attire.

We’re passionate about providing an amazing customer experience, so when you walk through the doors of our showroom, a member of our team will be happy to greet you. We know that everyone has different preferences around how they browse, so from there, it’s up to you.

You might know exactly what you need and want the freedom to look around uninterrupted. Or you might have no idea where to start and need a little guidance from our team. Whatever way you want to approach the showroom, it’s fine with us! We’ll never pressure you into a sale, we want you to feel comfortable when you shop with us.

Step Three: Browse our Product Selection

We’ve got lots of windows and doors to look at and test out in the showroom, as well as catalogues that list hundreds more! Visiting us in person allows you to make sure that the products are exactly what you want – from the colour and finish of your door or window, to making sure the opening and closing mechanisms suit you. These can be major purchases, so getting hands-on with our products is the best way to ensure that you’re making the right decision and choosing something that you’ll be happy with for years to come.

A brown uPVC door with frosted glass panel is framed by hanging flower baskets and potted plants on brick steps. A doormat reading Home lies at the entrance, next to a small garden gnome and beneath charming windows.
A white-framed window with green wooden shutters on both sides, set in a light-colored stucco wall, reflects trees and sky in its glass panes. Some plants grow below the window.
A bright conservatory with a glass roof by Conservatory Roofs Dunkeld, featuring black-framed windows, a red armchair, a gray sofa, a white armchair, a small lamp, and decorative cushions. Lush greenery is visible outside.

Step Four: Decide on your next steps

A man and woman sit on a couch together, looking at a magazine about visiting windows doors showroom while holding mugs. A small dog sits beside them on the couch. The scene appears relaxed and cozy in a home living room.

If you’ve found what you were looking for at the showroom: The next step is to arrange a home visit so our team can understand exactly what product specifications you’ll need for your property and prepare for a suitable fitting date. Don’t worry if your property is older, as we’re well versed in fitting windows and doors in these types of homes, while maintaining their traditional charm and character.

If you’ve not found what you’re looking for on your visit: …Or you still need some time to think about it, that’s absolutely fine! We don’t believe in hard sales or pushy tactics and we’ll still be here if you’d like to revisit the showroom or chat to us on the phone, or email about your options later down the line.

Step Five: Get excited about your home upgrades!

Windows, doors, roofline and conservatory roofs all go a huge way to enhancing the look of your home – but they also have additional benefits like lowering your energy bills, keeping your home warm, added security and noise reduction. While it might not seem like the most glamorous or flashy purchase, we think there’s lots to be excited about.

Finally, if at any time before your home visit or installation you have any questions or concerns, just give us a call or email – or if you’re local, you could swing by the showroom again – and we’ll be happy to chat.
