A conservatory in need of replacement
Caroline had always dreamed of living in the scenic town of Aberfeldy, nestled in the heart of Highland Perthshire and known for its stunning landscapes. When she purchased her two bedroom bungalow, she knew some work would be needed on the conservatory.

“Our old conservatory was leaking, and the wood it was built from was rotting. It had actually been built back in 1989. We needed a solution that would make it functional again and improve the space.” Caroline explained.

While the tiled floor was still in good condition, the walls and wooden framework required a full replacement. Caroline and her partner wanted a solution that would not only replace the old structure but also enhance the aesthetic appeal and maximise the stunning views of Aberfeldy and beyond – a key feature of their home.

Working with Cairnview Windows & Doors
After an initial consultation with another company that left them unconvinced, Caroline searched online for an alternative and discovered Cairnview Windows & Doors. She was immediately impressed by the professionalism shown on their website and during her conversation with their Director Cheryl.

Cairnview offered guidance without any pressure, helping Caroline refine her vision. This included reducing the number of windows, brightening the space and optimising the stunning 270-degree views.

“There was never any hard sell; it was just handled very sensitively. If I wanted to wait a year, there would have been no pushback whatsoever.”

The Cairnview team visited the property to assess the work, bringing samples and discussing options for roof glass and window openings. Communication remained clear throughout the process, with Bella, Cairnview’s Customer Service Leader, as the main point of contact:“Bella was always back really quickly with answers or solutions. I was never left hanging.”

A Beautiful, Functional Conservatory
The completed conservatory exceeded Caroline’s expectations. She described the transformation as “no comparison” to the previous conservatory – she didn’t anticipate it being this good. The new space is now fully weatherproof, visually appealing and enhances their enjoyment of the home. It’s even becoming a favourite spot for watching shooting stars through the glass roof!

Caroline highlighted the professionalism and efficiency of the Cairnview team, praising the careful attention to detail and the respectful handling of the home throughout the process:

“We would highly recommend Cairnview Windows & Doors to anyone. They were so helpful and honest, with careful attention to detail throughout the process. The whole experience was just very professional. They made me feel comfortable and everyone was very knowledgeable.”

Outstanding Customer Service
Caroline highlighted the responsiveness and reliability of the team. The installation started on a Monday and was finished in time for friends arriving on Friday. When one glass pane was damaged during delivery, the team quickly installed a temporary pane to complete the conservatory and replaced it with a new one shortly after.

“The whole experience was excellent. I’ve never experienced customer service carried through so consistently. The installation team were pleasant, helpful and efficient throughout.”
